OUR FOUR-DIMENSIONAL MODEL APPROACH
Threshold has offered an array of local face-to-face trainings in best practice developmental Autism Intervention Models since 1992. These trainings have provided open quarterly enrollment and low cost parent and teacher training alternatives in Oregon for over a decade. Over time our trainings had evolved to become more formal separate course series including:

L>E>A>P (Learn>Explore>Access>Practice)™ Initial Autism Orientation Seminar

C-A-L-M. (No More Tantrums)™ Full-Spectrum Parenting Class, (CLOSED FOR 2007/FULL CASE LOAD)

BIG THEMES Fun•ctional Holistic Inclusive Curriculum™ Workshop

A.D.A.P.T. (Adaptive Developmentally Appropriate Practice & Theory)™ Provider Education Series.

Each of these services was designed by our responding to enrollee feedback meant to help us meet the needs of family and service providers, as we travel on our long journey to a better understanding of Autism. It has been a great honor and a privilege to walk with you on this long and difficult learning path together. However, based on those same training development guides, we are needing to change our course to better serve your needs.

Over the last several years, we have begun get more requests for project-based trainings by institutions and organizations seeking to set-up affordable and effective model Autism programs, and to have access to online consultation services. My case load of professional and family clients is currently full and I need to take a sabbatical from some of our services to develop our online resources and to complete my Ph.D in 2007-2008.

Please see our new time/dates for monthly provider mentoring groups above and send in your information by email to get on a wait list.
